Led by a passionate team of healthcare professionals, including Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses, we bring real-world experience and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by underserved communities.

Nursing School Bootcamp
Saving Our People & Our Communities had the honor of hosting our very first Nursing School Bootcamp—and what a powerful experience it was!
Aspiring nurses came together to get real, hands-on insight into the world of nursing. From navigating the admissions process, surviving the intensity of nursing school, to landing that dream job in a specialty they love—our students got it all.
They didn’t leave empty-handed either! We were thrilled to provide free nursing school supplies, raffle prizes, and—perhaps most importantly—access to ongoing mentorship that will support them every step of the way through their journey.
There were no sugar-coated stories here. Students asked honest questions and got honest answers—like “Being a Nurse is hard work” and “Nursing School isn’t easier”. But that’s what made the day so impactful.
